About Patchnote
Patchnote is a Framer template for API, SDK and developer-tool teams. You get docs, an API reference, a changelog and a status page in one site. Docs and changelog entries live in the CMS. Breaking changes get a banner and migration callouts. Incidents feed the status page. Code blocks have tabs and a copy button. Docs search opens with Cmd/Ctrl+K, and the whole site follows the visitor's light or dark setting, with a manual toggle in the nav.
- 12 pages: Home, Docs index and doc detail; API reference with GET/POST/PATCH/DELETE pills; Changelog with type filters, plus entry pages; Status (illustrative), SDKs, Pricing, Support with a native form, Legal and 404.
- Docs search: a "Search docs" box on the Docs index and in the doc sidebar, Cmd/Ctrl+K to focus, popular-topic chips, keyboard-navigable results.
- Light and dark themes: every colour style has a dark value, so the site follows the system setting; a sun/moon toggle in the nav lets visitors switch and remembers the choice.
- 2 CMS collections: Docs (14 realistic starter guides in 3 groups) and Changelog (8 entries).
- v1/v2 "Applies to" labels, an RSS/subscribe panel, and an AGENTS.md block for coding assistants.
- Code component: tabs, response and terminal variants, copy button, auto language detection, and long lines that wrap on phones.
- Request → response → webhook-event hero, scroll-in motion and hover states.
- Visible keyboard focus ring and a native select on the Support form.
- Works on Framer's Free plan (uses 2 of 2 CMS collections).
- Light and dark colour styles (contrast checked in both), IBM Plex Sans/Mono, text styles.
- Responsive at 1200, 810 and 390.
- Sample content is about a fictional API.
