About Gristmill
Gristmill is a Framer template for data-API, web-scraper and data-product companies. It's built to sell datasets and an API. The hero is a live, animated scraper run that streams records into a JSON/Table view, and the whole site ships in light and dark with a theme toggle. You get a CMS dataset catalogue with category filters. Each dataset page has a schema table, sample output, API snippets, a live cost estimator, delivery options, quality checks, an example run history, a schema changelog and a FAQ. There's also a pricing page with a usage slider.
13 pages: Home, Datasets index and dataset detail.
API & integrations, Pricing with the estimator, and Use cases.
Responsible data, Blog index and post.
Status (illustrative), Request data with a native form, Legal and 404.
2 CMS collections, which works on Framer's Free plan: Datasets (8 items) and Blog (6 posts).
6 code components: RunConsole (animated hero run with streaming records, JSON/Table tabs, all text and colours editable), ThemeToggle (light/dark switch that follows the system and remembers the choice), CodeBlock (tabs, copy button, line highlights), OutputViewer (JSON/Table toggle for sample rows), SchemaTable, and UsageEstimator (slider, volume tiers and plan suggestions).
Full dark mode from light/dark colour styles.
Per-card CTA links on the pricing cards; the blog "More" list hides the post you're reading.
An input → run → output section, per-dataset rate tables and a plan comparison.
Hover states, scroll-in appear animations, and SEO titles, descriptions and social images on every page.
