A calm podcast website with a real episode player built in, not an embed. Press play on any episode and keep browsing: the audio keeps playing from page to page in a dock at the bottom.

Pages: Home, Episodes (Season filter), Episode page (CMS), About with a Be a guest form, Sponsor with ad formats and an inquiry form, 404. Desktop, tablet and phone; SEO set up.

Components

• Episode Player: −15 s / +30 s, speed, chapters, resume, and Share at this moment (a ?t=2:05 link)

• Player Dock: keeps playing while visitors move between pages

• Play Button on every card; remembers progress ("2 min left", "Played")

• Transcript that follows the voice: click a line to jump there, find, copy

• Episodes CMS with seasons, guests, show notes and per-episode Apple/Spotify/YouTube links

Good to know

• The player needs direct MP3/M4A file URLs (paste from your host's RSS feed, or upload to the CMS). Spotify or Apple embeds won't play in it. No RSS feed is created and there is no RSS import.

• Transcripts are pasted as text: one line per paragraph ("[12:40] Ada: text") or the contents of an SRT/VTT file.

• The RSS address (feeds.example.com), Listen on, social and guest links are placeholders to replace.

• Episode share images are the square episode cover.

• A full reload or new tab stops playback; the dock then offers to continue. Progress is stored in the visitor's browser only.

• The Season filter is a dropdown. No previous/next pair; Keep listening shows the latest four.

• The show, people, numbers and audio are made up; the audio is AI-voiced. Photos from Unsplash.
