A dark, typographic portfolio built around a fixed sidebar, for people who keep two bodies of work: client projects and personal photography.

Everything sits beside a fixed sidebar that holds your name, your navigation and a status badge saying whether you are taking work.

The navigation is built from the CMS, so adding a project or a photo series puts it in the sidebar automatically. Hover a nav item and it fades through that item's own images with a blur.

The type system is deliberately small. One typeface, two sizes, no display headlines. Media runs square-cornered and edge to edge, and opens in a lightbox.

Home overview, About, Work index, Work detail, Photography index, Series detail, 404.

Four components:

Status Badge with four states and a pulsing dot, Nav Item with the hover preview, Avatar that morphs from circle to rounded square, and an image slider that cross-fades with a blur.

Two CMS collections to fill in: Projects and Series. Both detail pages, both index pages and the sidebar navigation read from them.

Desktop, tablet and phone breakpoints. Empty states on every CMS list, so the layout holds when you clear the demo content.
