This entire site was generated by the Framer agent 😀
Wireframe™
Wireframe is our hackathon entry: a Framer portfolio template built with Framer 3.0 agents, designed around a deliberate contradiction: a finished product that looks unfinished on purpose.
The Why?
We wanted to go back to the root of what Framer has always been about: creating beautiful, unique sites and templates that stand out for the end user. Now, with the help of AI agents, that vision is more achievable than ever. Wireframe is our answer to what happens when you combine a strong creative direction with the speed of a new tool. The entire site was generated by a Framer agent, from layout to components to handwritten annotations, and it took us less than 8 hours to design & build from scratch. That alone says everything about how powerful it is to bring AI into the design workflow.
The What?
- Image placeholders in classic wireframe style, rectangles with crossing diagonals
- Text placeholder blocks representing content before it is written
- Handwritten notes scattered across the page, like a designer mid-process
- Figma-style comments throughout, making visitors feel like active collaborators in the design
- Fun little hidden easter eggs 😉
There is also a hi-fi button. Press it, and the wireframe aesthetic gives way to a polished version of the same layout: same structure, two completely different feelings.
What the agent did
Agents built the entire site. Every section, every placeholder component, all generated through conversation (with human supervision and finetuning, of course). What would normally take days to weeks of building happened in hours through iteration and prompting.
What surprised us most was how well agents handled aesthetic intent, not just layout logic. Communicating "this should look unfinished" and having the output actually reflect that was the real test, and it passed.
