This is a long one..
A good looking website means nothing if it doesn’t represent the business behind it.
Building a successful website isn’t about filling pages with text, picking a few colors, and deciding based off of a thought 🙅🏽♂️
It’s about intentional design, brand authenticity, and strategy.
Take this project for Shelley’s Scrap Shack, for example.
The goal wasn’t to reinvent the business or make it fit a trendy website template. It was to take a brand with years of history, personality, and an established community and translate that identity into a cohesive digital experience.
From the brand style guide to the typography, color palette, custom graphics, real photography, and responsive website layouts, every decision serves a purpose.
The playful scrapbook inspired elements aren’t there just because they look nice. They reflect what the business actually does and the experience its customers have come to know.
That’s the difference between making something look good and designing something that works.
Now onto the PROBLEM…
Too many businesses end up with websites that look polished on the surface but fail to communicate who they are, what makes them different, or why someone should choose them.
And that’s the problem good design is supposed to solve.
I’m not just selling a design concept or a collection of web pages. I’m providing a solution that connects brand identity, user experience, and business goals.
Because at the end of the day, your website shouldn’t just look professional.
It should look like YOUR business, speak to YOUR audience, and serve a real purpose.
That’s what intentional web design is all about @Link Studios
