Framer’s CMS editor urgently needs improvement. Basic editorial actions like linking an inline image to a PDF or external link should be native, obvious, and available directly inside the CMS rich text editor. Having to work around this with embedded components is far behind modern CMS expectations. The CMS also needs a proper mobile editor as soon as possible — editing content, managing posts, and making quick updates from mobile should be standard in 2026. The current CMS editing experience feels behind the times for teams publishing real content regularly.
