Look 6/19 – Put your name in Orbit.

I made living backgrounds for @Framer. Here's the panel: design your own look, or pick one of 19 ready-made ones.

Hey @Framer people. Would you want this card on the Marketplace?

I drew the tribal frame shapes by hand, turned them into 3D and animated the dissolve in Blender. Then I built it all into one customizable Framer component: frame shape, text scramble, and different backgrounds, animated or static.

The card can hold any background, including your own image or video.

Here the background is Space_Field.exe, my component with 19 ready-made living backgrounds.

– Works with Framer color styles, pauses off-screen, respects reduced motion.

🛸 🧊 UX Audit: Fixing the Broken Retention Loop in the @Framer Marketplace 🌌 🖤

I want to share a final UX analysis regarding a heavily discussed community request: the missing repository for liked assets.

When we like community posts, plugins, or marketplace templates, they currently disappear with no way to recall them. Here is why launching a native 'Saved' workspace hub is a win-win for both users and the Framer ecosystem:

1. Fixing the Habit Loop 🖤

Likes in a creative ecosystem represent active curation. Providing a native vault keeps users engaged inside the platform instead of forcing them to use external bookmarking tools.

2. Seamless Integration 👁‍🗨️

The proposed 'Saved' tab fits natively inside the 'Discover' sidebar, right under 'Activity'. It features a clean filter system (All, Posts, Templates, Components, Vectors, Plugins) matching Framer's signature dark UI framework perfectly.

3. Ecosystem Value 🗨

Transforming the marketplace into a personal asset library directly increases user retention, encourages repeat visits, and boosts transaction velocity for our template creators.

The community and Reddit feedback shows this is a deeply shared pain point.

The UX logic is mapped out, the UI layout is ready.

What do you think of this approach?

Let's make it happen! 🔮

🛸 🧊 UX Miss in the @Framer Marketplace: When "Likes" Become a Black Hole.

Hey everyone,

👽 I recently realized how frustrating the UX is when you try to find community posts or marketplace items (templates, components, plugins) that you’ve previously liked. There is literally no way to view them. 👽

👁‍🗨️ I checked the "Activity – Likes" tab in my profile, hoping to find my bookmarks there. But as it turns out, this tab only shows notifications when other people like your posts ("When people engage with what you post..."). Your own likes just disappear into a black hole. 🌌 🛸

🧊 This is a huge miss for UX. When we like assets or any content across the platform, we want a quick and easy way to view our likes later. Right now, there is absolutely no possibility to do that – not just for marketplace assets, but for the entire community space (posts, discussions, etc.).

🤍 Suggested Solution: Update the "Activity – Likes" section to include not only notifications about other users' reactions, but also a comprehensive list of our own liked content from across the entire @Framer Community and Marketplace.
