I'm curious whether others have a library of code overrides that they use on a regular basis? What sort of problems do they solve for you?
I have a few that cover little CSS fixes which are handy. But apart from that... I wonder what people use them for? It's a bit of a hidden part of the Framer world.
I've used the new Agent features in quite a few ways already, but at this stage, the credits run out so quick that I find myself back in my old setup still:
- I use Gemini, with a bespoke Framer Gem populated with files from the Framer docs.
- I then copy and paste the code over after each update into code components.
It's a bit of a pain, but I get great results for Creating components and code overrides, and I have endless credits. I find that even the agents in Framer are not as well primed with Framer-ready code - sometimes not using relevant control types etc.
What do you think?
Anyone else finding that all {subdomain}.framer.website domains are down? It's been like this for a few hours with no mention in framerstatus.com
Anyone else wished that you could hide variables from the client depending on when they are relevant? E.g. A component where you toggle between Image / Video. Currently it seems like there is no way to hide the image file variant when Video is selected and vice versa.
I figure it could help clean things up a bit for clients and create clarity.
Anyone have any tips for achieving this?
Has anyone come across websites that show off poetry in new or interesting ways? Or just nice poetry websites at all? Any help would be much appreciated!

It's SO much better.
For certain clients, you want to avoid them using the canvas altogether. But getting CMS collections into a carousel can be a bit of a nightmare. We needed a style-agnostic carousel that could do all the custom design things that we wanted, but still using our normal Collection Lists.

Happy to say that I've had great feedback since it launched earlier this year.
Another way to ensure standards in Marketplace could be through plugins.
I notice that there are plugins like Template Checker which check your template for quality and provide scores.
Maybe there'll be an industry standard where we can say: passes {plugin checker name here} with 100%.
Maybe @Framer could make one for us!?
I wonder if this feed could be used to share code overrides. I have lots of little code overrides that help with builds, but they don't really have an easy way to share them - and I don't think they fit in the marketplace.
What do you think?
When I first got a hint that they would be integrating AI more, I was worried that they would go full Cursor on us and we'd lose the hands-on Framer that I love.
But it's tucked away so nicely in the sidebar there, and I can already see that it's a great addition to the platform for time-saving when you want it - but keeps out of the way when you don't need it.
Respect to @Framer team @Benjamin for getting it right... again!
I think, best case scenario is that this community becomes a space that truly supports creativity and helps people grow.
- One that people find to be more about inspiration rather than aspiration.
- Where creators don't just feign interactivity for the sake of the algorithm, but actually invite genuine feedback and can learn from each other.
- Avoiding the pitfalls of things like LinkedIn, where it's actually purely promotional, and so the comments become little more than vacuous upvoting. 🥴

How are people feeling about there being no review process for marketplace now? I feel conflicted. I know that for myself, passing a review gave me a sense of achievement and reassurance that I was doing things the best they could be done. Now that's not available I wonder if people will start to charge for such a service. Maybe Framer could charge for it?
