Emberkind

Overview

Emberkind is a British company creating architect-designed saunas for commercial operators, wellness spaces, and private projects. I contributed to its web design and Framer development, working within an established creative direction to present its products, completed projects, and approach to sauna spaces.

Design & Framer Development

The website uses large architectural photographs to highlight sauna forms, materials, and their surroundings. Expressive typography accompanies product details and project imagery, giving the physical structures a prominent role in the presentation. The layout pairs these images with concise information rather than making the product pages depend on long blocks of copy.

My work combined visual implementation and development in Framer across pages covering sauna products, services, company information, and completed projects. Expandable FAQ sections keep detailed product and operational information accessible without crowding the page.

Editable Framer Components

I configured the FAQ component on sauna pages with editable Framer component properties for questions and answers. This allows the team to update information through component controls rather than modifying the internal layout.

I also connected the testimonial component's content properties to the information displayed on the page. Editors can change testimonial details through the component settings while preserving the established presentation.

Both implementations distinguish routine content updates from structural changes, making the components practical for ongoing website maintenance.

Outcome

The delivered Framer work combines a photography-led presentation of Emberkind's saunas and projects with reusable, editor-friendly components. Product information, FAQs, and testimonials sit within a cohesive website experience, while the team can manage FAQ answers and testimonial content directly through component properties.
