About Luca Ferrara
Overview
Luca Ferrara is an entrepreneur and investor whose work spans renewable energy, infrastructure, supply chains, and cross-border investment. I designed and developed his personal website in Framer, bringing experience, ventures, editorial content, and collaboration opportunities into one presentation.
Design Direction
I explored visual references before adapting the Orix Framer template to Luca’s professional identity. I reworked section order, introduced new content blocks, and refined typography and spacing. A restrained monochrome palette kept photographs, logos, and text from competing for attention, while large headings established the content hierarchy.
Interactive Development
I built an expandable Track Record section presenting ventures through project names, industries, activity periods, and descriptions. The accordion kept the career overview compact while making additional detail available on demand.
I also adapted scroll-based text reveals and interactive collaboration cards. On desktop, card imagery appears on hover; on mobile, it appears as cards enter the viewport. This preserved the visual content without relying on a cursor.
Responsive Experience
After establishing the desktop composition, I adapted typography, navigation, spacing, and interactive components for tablet and mobile. I repositioned a collaboration block directly below the mobile hero so visitors encounter the main ways to work with Luca earlier in the page.
CMS & Handover
I implemented a Framer CMS publishing system connecting featured articles, an archive, and individual article pages. The Field Notes section uses dedicated pages for full articles. A native Framer contact form completed the inquiry flow.
The website was transferred with an editing guide covering ongoing content management. Luca can update text and imagery and publish articles independently, while visitors can explore his ventures, read his perspectives, and find opportunities to collaborate.
