The brief: Off Screen Studios is a Boston-based independent film production company making documentaries and short films, but its website didn't do the films justice. The studio needed a site that showcases its short films, reflects the awards and accolades they've earned, promotes upcoming screenings and events, and builds an audience for each new release. The site was shaped in close collaboration with the studio, from the story it tells to how each film is presented.

Credibility at first glance: A dark, cinematic design puts award-winning releases and coming-soon titles up front.

Room to grow: A CMS production archive gives every film its own page, so new releases go live without a redesign.

The story behind the films: A dedicated page for director Brad Watts, whose background as a combat veteran and mental health clinician shapes the studio's work.

An audience for every release: An events section for screenings and premieres, with a newsletter sign-up.
