Portal is a freelance toolkit built around the entire client journey — from sending proposals and collecting payments to managing subscriptions, contracts, and delivering files. Instead of relying on PDFs, invoices, and separate tools, everything lives inside a branded project portal.
Freelancing usually means jumping between a lot of different tools.
You send a proposal, create an invoice, chase a payment, share files, get a contract signed, and then repeat the process for the next client.
Portal brings those steps together.
The challenge was making that feel less like a business management platform and more like a beautiful place to run a client project.
I wanted the project portal to be the main story.
Instead of presenting Portal as a list of freelance features, the website shows how everything fits around one project — presenting the work, agreeing on the details, getting paid, and delivering the final files.
The visual direction also puts a lot of emphasis on personal branding, since freelancers can customize their portals with their own colors, backgrounds, profile images, and content.
The final direction positions Portal as more than another invoicing or project management tool.
It's a digital home for the entire freelance relationship.
The idea behind the design is simple:
Present better. Work smoother. Get paid without the back and forth.
