About Yashogatha

Yashogatha is a Marathi storytelling channel about success stories from across Maharashtra. It is run by Sushil Panchal in Pune.

Most viewers speak Marathi and watch on their phones. They usually find Yashogatha through Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. They rarely check email.

I built the website from start to finish. I handled the strategy, copy, UX/UI design, and development. I designed it in Figma and built it in Framer.

The main challenge was deciding what visitors should do. Sushil had a real audience, but no website of his own and no clear goal for visitors.

The homepage focuses on one action: following Yashogatha on WhatsApp. That is where the audience already spends time, so the site does not split attention between email, social media, and other channels.

A section lower on the page explains why Yashogatha exists and how stories are chosen. It uses real numbers instead of vague claims. Like the FAQ on Sankalp, it answers common questions before visitors need to ask.

The videos are split into three sections: featured long-form stories, short-form Reels and Shorts, and full interviews. Each section matches how the videos are meant to be watched.

The site is fully in Marathi. It was not translated from English. I chose the typography to support Devanagari properly because many fonts do not display Marathi well.
