Hey everyone! I’ve been heads-down for a while building a new 3D Globe component and it’s finally ready. 🌍
I really focused on making it feel like a high-end, interactive experience. You get things like flowing aurora borealis effects, dots that react to your cursor with real spring physics, and animated flight arcs/shooting stars connecting global cities.
But as a designer, I also hated how heavy most 3D components are, so I built this entirely on Canvas 2D. No WebGL, no Three.js, no external dependencies. It’s insanely lightweight, buttery smooth at 60fps, and won't throw optimization errors when you hit publish.
Everything is controlled via the property panel. Would love to hear your thoughts or see what you create with it! 💙🔥
