How one WhatsApp message led to 9 projects:

Often new designers are told to post daily and wait for it to compound; that can work but isn't a guarantee - nothing is - so we have to find ways.

A few months ago, I helped someone with an issue on Framer in a random WhatsApp group.

When Framer 3.0 came out, they asked me to brief it to them so they can understand what's happening.

Recently a post of theirs around Framer 3.0 had decent reach and they got 17 new projects out of which 9 were from the same client.

As goodwill and a sign of trust, they decided to assign those 9 projects to me and pay the advance without hesitation.

This is not a brag nor is it a sure shot strategy on getting clients.

I am of the belief that if you want to get more clients you have to increase your reach and educate clients before educating creators, developers, etc.

This week has been hectic mapping out these projects and working on them at the same time but it's definitely pleasant to see one bit of education go a long way.
