What I actually want in Framer (not more “AI” features)
- A real CMS - Ecommerce
- Better video tools
- A proper API - Stronger forms
- Project management notes
- Clean code export
- Phone number validation
- Native file uploads in forms
- Better form functionality overall
- Design tokens / variable management
- Text ellipsis support
- Localization that isn’t absurdly expensive
- Fluid responsive scaling (still waiting)
I genuinely love Framer—it’s the most comfortable place to build right now. I just want these basics done well, built-in, and maintained by Framer—not pushed off to outsourced plugins
