Card Ring 3D — An Immersive Rotating Image Showcase

Card Ring 3D is a custom Framer code component that arranges any set of images into a continuously rotating, tilted 3D ring. Built with real CSS 3D transforms and a frame-rate-independent requestAnimationFrame loop, it delivers buttery-smooth, non-stop motion that makes a gallery of flat images feel like a tangible object floating in space.

What it does

Renders image cards evenly around a circular ring in true 3D perspective.
Rotates endlessly, with every card staying visible as it travels around the full ring — front and back.
Sits on a clean, tunable background (default deep black) so the imagery is the hero.

Why it’s nice

Fully tunable, no code required. Radius, tilt, rotation speed, card size, corner radius, perspective depth, background color, and the image set are all exposed as Framer property controls.
Performance-conscious. Animation pauses off-screen, respects prefers-reduced-motion, and supports optional pause-on-hover.
Drop-in ready. Fills its frame responsively and works with any collection of images — portfolios, product shots, photography, or brand moments.
