[PAID] Looking for developer — UTM passthrough fix for Framer → Shopify split-domain setup
Hey Framer community — looking for someone who has solved the UTM passthrough problem on a Framer + Shopify split-domain setup. Happy to pay for the right fix.
The setup:
- Framer front-end at celltheory.com
- Shopify checkout at shop.celltheory.com
- GTM installed on both domains
- Seal Subscriptions handling the subscription checkout flow
The problem:
UTM parameters survive on the Framer side but get wiped at the domain handoff to Shopify checkout. Every purchase lands in GA4 as Direct with no source/medium, so we can't attribute anything to Meta or Google Ads. We're spending on paid media with zero attribution visibility.
A UTM passthrough script using sessionStorage was previously implemented in Framer's custom code settings, but it's unreliable — particularly on the Seal Subscriptions embedded component, which handles the checkout redirect internally and doesn't always get intercepted in time.
What we need:
1. Reliable UTM capture on the Framer side (sessionStorage or localStorage)
2. UTMs appended to the Shopify checkout URL at the point of redirect — including through the Seal Subscriptions component
3. Shopify Customer Events / custom pixel setup so GA4 and Meta pixel purchase events fire correctly from shop.celltheory.com/checkouts/cn/ pages (currently untagged)
4. Verification that UTMs are appearing correctly in GA4 as the right source/medium on purchase events
What we don't need:
A general Shopify developer or someone who hasn't dealt with cross-domain UTM passthrough specifically. This is a precise technical problem and we need someone who has solved it before.
Budget: Fixed price preferred — open to proposals.
Timeline: ASAP — ideally resolved within 1–2 weeks.
If you've done this before or know someone who has, drop a comment below. Please share a relevant example of cross-domain tracking work if you reach out.
