Framer just made a major change.
Template reviews are gone.
You can now publish directly to the marketplace without waiting for approval.
As a creator, I love the speed.
As a buyer, I'm not sure.
The review process created friction, but it also acted as a quality filter.
Without it, we'll likely see more templates, more experimentation, and more opportunities for new creators.
But we'll probably also see more noise.
So here's my question:
Is removing template reviews a win for creators, a win for customers, or a mistake we'll regret later?
What do you think?
