Declina

Declina is a website template for dark-sky lodges, astro-tourism operators and observatories.

Scrolling takes a long exposure of the real night sky. Stars from the Yale Bright Star Catalogue trail around the true celestial pole while you scroll, then snap back to pinpoints when you stop, over a mesa horizon with an observatory dome and a lodge lit by red path lights. Hover a bright star to see its name.

The whole interface is set in red on near-black, the way observatories light things to protect night vision, including photos.
