Less is more. Thanks to @BuiltByKern for the super slick design. (i gave myself 12 minutes to edit/customize and absolutely now looks like I know what i'm doing with Framer. (hint - I don't 🙂.

some of my favorite recent purchases (and remixes) via the Framer marketplace. (the hard part is knowing where on the map these designers (and designs) originate :)
Hey all - just published the very first iteration of our map based Framer directory (Framerdirectory.com) and a short video introduction for my own community of writers/teachers/authors/creators who are NOT designers - but may benefit from the amazing super powers of Framers for their landing pages, book launches, digital products, newsletters, etc. Thus far - i've added just the templates I've either purchased recently - (or remixed for free) - Short intro here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70mMta02qT4 - and will be adding more recommended templates/designs over the next few days. Thanks!
Hey all - for those of us designing from home, and wondering whether formalizing a business relationship with your best friend(s) is a smart move, Zig and I were interviewed for a new publication (that we started today) and I thought, if it could inspire one person in the Framer communty to get over the hump, i was worth sharing with the group 😄
Hey all - I made a short Notion doc for my own community of recent Framer designs/templates I've purchased (audience is mostly authors/creators/entrepreneurs who are definitely NOT designers or Framer experts with a handful of Agencies in the mix who are - but mostly use tools like WP/Carrd/Readymag/etc) and a video walkthrough of some of the thinking behind why I picked and recommend the ones I did to purchase. There seems to be a ton of Framer folk who seem to be wondering how to best sell your designs in light of the recent changes/additions to the marketplace and I thought it might be helpful to share a link here to the video from a buyer of templates perspective - rather than another opinion from a seller of templates - of which there are many! 🙂. (excerpt here on the colorful design from @Measured Branding and @Rachel Cohen - the full video with Notion doc - & about half of the designs we bought - and why is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kiBWDonx7s)

As a non designer/and non Framer expert - love coming up with useful ways to get better at tools like Framer while helping those in my own entrepreneurial orbit learn too. Love this domain marketplace template by @Anthony Stephen Mendes and looking forward to putting it to good (and hopefully profitable!) use! :)
A reminder: For those of us working from a home office - difficult conversations around personal space are important for the entire team.
Re-building one of our Gumroad storefronts with one of the very first Framer templates I bought a few years back - love how much more spacious/breathable it feels compared to the default GR boxy store aesthetic - and with the checkout modal - I can curate what people actually see as they browse what's available to buy. (love the Notioly illustrations from Maria Amato too - highly recommend!)
Hey all! I'm putting together a map based directory of Framer designers and recommended resources for folks like myself (writers/authors/teachers/artists/entrepreneurs) who aren't good at design (nor Framer) but want to connect with those that are 🙂
My feeling is, knowing a lot of professional types in the writing/teaching/mental health and publishing space who are very good at what they do - but often have terrible design instincts, with all of the inspiring things now possible with Framer - it would be helpful to those of you who sell tools/templates for Framer - as well as design as a service.
(I've personally purchased many Framer templates/components over the last year or two - and being able to review/recommend design resources to my own professional peers that I've found useful (and often inspiring for my own projects) has been a lot of fun.
I'll be building a proper directory for the site - a searchable map showcasing designers from around the world - and 2x weekly newsletter highlighting new stuff i'm learning/using/buying/recommending.
If you'd like to share your services on the map - or have templates that are ideal for authors/teachers/writers/creators (not AI agency stuff 🙂 - say hi below
Thanks!
Ian
