This is our framer template analytics for the last month. Visitor numbers increased significantly on June 26th after the Framer 3.0 update. We are now updating this template into a full website because we received quite a bit of feedback from customers requesting it. We hope this update will increase our sales!
finally checked my template ranking after 5 days offline, and it dropped to #11 from #2 rank after the newest marketplace update
but here’s the crazy part: I’m getting more sales and commissions while away on my trip (even with the lower ranking) than when it was at #2.
this is way more complex than we think. many other factors affect sales, not just ranking.
that said, don’t feel bad if your template ranking isn’t as high as expected. I met creators who get way more sales and commissions than me despite lower rankings.
so it’s not because your template is bad. ranking doesn’t determine your template’s value. I hope this whole ranking and Framer 3.0 update won’t discourage new creators from entering the industry. on the contrary, it’s an opportunity, the new framer marketplace algorithm and design pushes fresh work and helps new templates rank higher.
just try it, okay? i mean, what’s the worst that can happen? if it works, you get passive income. if not, you can add it to your portfolio, use it for client projects, and improve your skills.
let’s keep experimenting to see what works for you. what’s works for creator A might not work for you due to niche, style, audience, etc. try your own version and keep going
