How Framer Experts rankings work
Learn which signals decide your position in the Experts directory and how to move up over time.
Your position in the Experts directory decides how often clients find you. Framer ranks Experts on the sites they hand off to clients and on how trustworthy their profile is.
What affects your ranking
Framer combines four signals:
Handoffs on a paid plan: Handoffs where your client upgrades the site to a paid Framer plan.
Recent handoffs: How many sites you’ve handed off lately.
Handoff revenue: The value of the paid plans your clients buy after a handoff.
Trust score: How reliable your account and profile look, based on your behavior on Framer.
No single signal sets your rank. Your position reflects how you perform compared with other Experts, so your numbers can grow while your position falls if others grow faster. Pro Experts also get prioritized placement in the directory.
How to improve your ranking
Hand off finished sites through Project Transfers, and help your clients pick the plan that fits their site. A steady flow of handoffs keeps you visible longer than one busy month.
Keep your profile accurate. Check that your country is correct, since it’s the detail Experts most often get wrong. List your real name, services, and team size, and show only work you built. Framer takes down profiles with incorrect info.

FAQ
Does a lower ranking mean I’ve been penalized?
No. Your position can drop when your recent handoffs slow down or other Experts hand off more work. A drop on its own is not a penalty.
Why is an Expert with fewer handoffs ranked above me?
The total count of handoffs doesn’t decide your rank. Framer looks at paid plans, recent activity, revenue, and trust together, so fewer handoffs can still rank higher.
Can a new Expert get noticed?
Yes. Recent handoffs count, so a strong start helps you move up without a long history. A particular position is never guaranteed.
