About Balm Rooms
Balm is a website template for small day spas and massage studios: deep tissue, pregnancy and hot stone massage, facials and couples' treatments. It's soft and warm, with leaf-shaped photos and a printed-menu look for prices.
Treatments run from the CMS, with a category, lengths, prices and what each one is good for. The treatment menu lists them by category with dotted price leaders, and the home page shows the featured ones. Therapists live in the CMS too, with specialisms, working days and placeholders for qualifications.
The Book page has a native booking request form: treatment, length, preferred therapist or no preference, date, time of day, whether the client is pregnant, contact details and notes. The submit button has loading, success and error states.
The "Open now" badge reads your opening hours in your time zone and shows "Open now · until 8pm" or the next opening time.
Pages: Home, Treatments, Therapists, Gift vouchers, Book, Licenses and 404. You also get a "Your first visit" timeline, a gift voucher block and page, a general health questions note, an FAQ and a map. Every page has its own search title and description, laid out for desktop, tablet and phone.
Getting started:
Change the colours in Assets → Colors (all named Balm/...) and the fonts in Assets → Text Styles.
Replace the treatments and therapists in CMS → Treatments and Therapists, including the qualification placeholders.
Set your opening hours on the "Open now" badges on the home page, the Book page and in the footer.
Open the form on /book, choose where requests go and update the treatment and therapist dropdowns.
Point the "Buy a voucher" buttons at your own voucher shop (they link to example.com for now).
Swap the photos for your own, check the health note with your insurer and change the map address on /book.
