A CMS-powered infinite canvas portfolio built in 24 hours for the Framer AI Hackathon.
Canvas World is an interactive portfolio system where design projects live inside a draggable infinite canvas instead of a traditional static grid.
The idea was to create a portfolio that feels like an explorable visual world: users can drag through the canvas, discover projects spatially, and tap any card to expand it and view more details.
This project was an experiment in human-directed, AI-executed creation.
The concept, creative direction, structure, and product logic came from my own ideas and prompts, but almost 99% of the actual build was executed with AI.
I used AI Agents as the main building partner, giving detailed prompts, instructions, corrections, and iterations until the system worked the way I envisioned it.
Canvas World is connected to Framer CMS.
Each CMS entry includes:
Project title
Cover image
Year
Discipline
Description
Project details
Once a new project is added to the CMS, it automatically appears inside the canvas as a new interactive card.
No duplicated sections. No manual layout updates. No rebuilding the page every time a project is added.
Add an entry. The canvas grows.
AI was used to execute and refine almost every part of the experience:
Infinite canvas behavior
CMS structure
Dynamic project cards
Tap-to-expand interactions
Layout and visual system
Component logic
Microcopy
Responsive behavior
Debugging and iteration
My role was to direct the system: define the idea, write the prompts, review the output, correct the direction, and push the AI until the experience matched the concept.
Canvas World turns a portfolio into a living canvas — directed by a human, built almost entirely with AI.
