- From a creator's perspective
1. Creators need a straightforward way to check metrics across all their creations. The old dashboard handled this well, surfacing key metrics immediately. With the new update, however, reaching that same data requires clicking into an item, scrolling to the bottom of its description, and clicking "view activity" just to see performance numbers. This extra friction isn't scalable and won't hold up as a long-term solution. The creator dashboard should function as a centralized hub for all your creations, with metrics clearly visible right away rather than buried several steps deep.
2. The edit profile and edit item options are currently hidden behind the three dot menu, which creates unnecessary friction and forces users to guess where these actions live. There's clearly enough room for both options to be visible right away, making the update process noticeably easier and smoother.
This is simply my honest take on the UI/UX friction points I've encountered with the Framer 3.0 update. I hope this feedback proves useful in shaping a better Framer product going forward.
