A small inspiration break from templates.
I went to Kupalle recently — a Slavic summer solstice celebration built around fire, water, herbs, songs, and old rituals.
Historically, Kupalle night was believed to be the moment when the border between worlds becomes thinner, and spirits could walk the earth. Today it is often softer and more romantic: flower crowns, wreaths on water, finding your future partner.
But this evening felt older than that.
Huge fire, dark forest, horses, folk clothes, people dancing in circles, phones glowing between the trees.
Less “cute summer festival”.
More “we are absolutely here to scare the spirits away”.
Saving this as visual inspiration for future work.
