Hey all Framer creators and Framer team 😃
I would like to address some UI/UX pain points I see with the new Framer 3.0 update:
- From a buyers perspective
1. The search bar's current placement makes it feel like part of the user account panel rather than the marketplace itself. Tucked into the sidebar, it's easy to overlook and difficult to scan at a glance. Since search is a critical tool for buyers, it deserves a more prominent position on the right side of the layout, clearly visible and unmistakably distinct from account related elements.
2. The template's single view preview currently undersells the quality of the work itself, the interface feels cramped and results in a poor overall viewing experience. The open preview button should be immediately visible rather than tucked away behind a three dot menu. Additionally, both a published date and a last updated date should be displayed, giving users a clear sense of when the template was created and how recently it's been maintained.
3. On mobile, the buy button disappears entirely, which is puzzling given there's clearly enough horizontal space to keep it inline alongside the three dot menu and the like and comment icons.
