Hi everyone,
I'm building a site in Framer for a medical clinic and need some help connecting my CMS to a carousel component.
Here's my situation:
I already have a CMS Collection called "Doctors" with fields (Image, Author Name, Designation, Speciality, etc.). This collection is already working correctly elsewhere on my site (e.g. in my Services section, which pulls from a different collection the same way).
I imported a carousel template/component (currently named "TeamMemberCardCarousel" in my layers panel) for showcasing team members. This carousel is not connected to any CMS at all — it just has static placeholder cards (a stock photo, the name "Ava Kim", and a generic bio) hardcoded into the design.
What I need to figure out:
Is it possible to connect an already-built CMS Collection (Doctors) to an imported carousel like this one, so it displays one card per doctor automatically?
If the carousel wasn't originally built as a Collection List, do I need to rebuild it using Framer's native Collection List element instead, and then recreate the carousel's look/behavior (arrows, autoplay) around it?
If so, what's the correct process to swap the carousel's static content for a Collection List while keeping the same card design (image, name, bio, "View Profile" button layout)?
I've attached screenshots of my current Doctors collection and the carousel as it currently looks (static/placeholder content).
Any guidance — or even just pointing me to the right doc/tutorial — would be hugely appreciated. I'm on a client deadline and this is the last piece I need to finish. Thanks so much in advance!
