DESCRIPTION
A rotating 3D sphere with 5 surfaces in 1 component. A chroma globe of hue Γ lightness patches; a photoreal eyeball that follows the cursor; a spinning Earth; a soccer ball; and any image of yours wrapped around it. Using one per-pixel raytracer, three built-in textures ship inside the file, so there is nothing to upload and nothing to host before it works.
Rotation runs on quaternions, so yaw, pitch and roll compose without gimbal lock; it never flips at the poles. Drag to throw it and it carries momentum, or leave it on a slow spin. Detail adapts while it moves and sharpens the moment it settles, so a 96 Γ 60 patch sphere stays smooth under a hard flick.
Image mode: upload a 2:1 equirectangular map (2048Γ1024 works well) for an undistorted wrap. Upload it rather than linking an external URL. Aim horizontally / vertically to choose what faces the visitor.
Ships with a fully transparent Background, so all three surfaces sit straight on your own section fill; set a color there if a surface needs its own backdrop. Pauses when scrolled off screen. Renders a still sphere for visitors who ask for reduced motion.
SURFACE & GLOBE
Chroma / Eyeball / Earth / Football / Image Β· Invert colors Β· Cube mapping Β· Saturation Β· Segments around Β· Segments top to bottom Β· Show far side Β· Far side opacity Β· Patch lines Β· Line color
TEXTURED SURFACES
Eye image Β· Earth map Β· Ball texture Β· Image Β· Texture detail Β· Aim horizontally Β· Aim vertically Β· Transparent fill Β· Shading
ROTATION
Auto yaw Β· Auto pitch Β· Auto roll Β· Drag to rotate Β· Spin momentum Β· Follow cursor Β· Follow speed Β· Image spin
One rotation model for all five surfaces: the same auto yaw, pitch and roll, drag, momentum and cursor-follow drive it, with nothing gated by surface. Ships upright and turning (yaw 8Β°/s, pitch and roll 0) so a globe, an eye and a ball each rest on a vertical spin; raise pitch or roll for a free tumble. Follow cursor is always on for Eyeball. Image adds its own spin option on top.
