Principal Site Reliability Engineer

Overview
We’re looking for a highly experienced SRE (Site Reliability Engineer), to help us build and maintain our hosting and application infrastructure in AWS.
As a SRE you’ll work closely with our engineering and product teams to build out the infrastructure and hosting architecture, supporting our sites in a secure, scalable and reliable way.
What you’ll do
Framer is a dynamic startup, so your role may change over time. Here’s an idea of the things you’ll be doing.
Scale out our hosting infrastructure to reliably host millions of high performant websites.
Deploy and operate highly available, scalable and secure cloud-native solutions.
Design and implement operational monitoring and logging for performance and security of the platform.
Design and implement a strategy to prevent and quickly recover from failures.
Your background
At least 10+ years of working experience in building and scaling infrastructure
Solid, hands-on experience building and managing AWS infrastructure
Experience with Docker, and orchestration tools such as AWS ECS, Kubernetes, Mesos, etc.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code through tools such as AWS CloudFormation, GCP Deployment Manager, Terraform, etc.
Familiarity or experience with modern programming languages and environments, such as JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Shell scripting, etc.
