Trying single pricing this time to see how it works
Some unfinished template concepts I designed about a year ago.
Never launched them. Never finished them.
Found these while digging through old files today, and it's interesting to see how much my design style has changed since then.
I used to design like this around 2 years ago.
Looking back, I'm actually glad Framer rejected my template at the time. It pushed me to improve my skills, rethink my approach, and raise my standards.
Had that template been accepted, I probably wouldn't have grown as much as I did.
Sometimes criticism and rejection are exactly what we need to get better.
I've been scrolling through inspiration sites for almost 4 hours trying to find ideas for my next template... and still nothing clicks.
At this point, I think I'm suffering from inspiration overload.
What do you usually do when you're completely stuck and can't find a direction for a new design?
I spent way too much time on this template trying to make it feel unique, and honestly, I still think it’s one of my best creations.
But somehow, the results have been underwhelming.
I’ve been brainstorming possible reasons, and one conclusion I keep coming back to is: maybe it’s too hard for the end user to edit/customize.
A lot of times designers focus so much on making something visually unique that we accidentally make it harder for non-designers to actually use.
Curious what you guys think the reason could be?
Just found a tool that shows detailed analytics for templates, including remix count and even estimated earnings.
Now I’m genuinely confused… how are they getting access to supposedly confidential data like remix counts? 👀

Someone just uploaded what looks like pure AI-generated design slop to the Marketplace 💀
Would you actually consider this good design, or am I the only one feeling this way?

How to find out whether a Y Combinator startup is using your template?
Just go through this link:
https://www.framer.com/startups/ycombinator
Browse the startup websites one by one and look closely at their structure, sections, layouts, interactions, and design patterns.
You’ll be surprised how many startups use existing Framer templates as a starting point. You can easily find yours if they are using it.
That’s exactly how I found out a YC-backed startup was using one of my templates. 😄
Just found out that a YC-backed startup is using my template.
Kinda crazy to think something I made is now being used by a company backed by Y Combinator.
So I am planning to include this type of FAQ section in my new framer template, but it feels like it will ruin the look when the answer is long. What do you think, should I use it or avoid it?
