Your picture, rebuilt out of characters, and alive. Nine ready character sets - Classic, Blocks, Bars, Dots, Braille and more - every one of them measured so the columns stay perfectly aligned, plus your own set if you want it. Ligatures are switched off internally, which is what stops two cells merging into a single glyph in a developer font.
Four cursor effects, each built on a different idea. Trail leaves an inertial comet behind the pointer. Reveal coarsens the whole grid into abstraction and sharpens the picture back only under your cursor. Push displaces the sampling around the pointer, and a negative value pulls instead. Scan sweeps a bar across the frame that bends as it passes the cursor - it keeps working with no mouse at all.
Three colour modes: mono, sampled from the image, or a green terminal with bloom and scanlines. Weight, column and line spacing, black clip, contrast, gamma, padding, alignment and an optional frame are all yours.
The image is sampled once, so the loop only lays down characters. Nothing is loaded from outside. Honours prefers-reduced-motion and shows one frozen frame on the Framer canvas.
