Why are my dashboard thumbnails missing?
If an older project shows a blank thumbnail, try making a few edits. You don’t need to republish the site. After editing, a new, higher-resolution thumbnail will appear within a few minutes.
Why are they blank?
On December 12, 2023, we launched a dashboard refresh with larger, high-resolution thumbnails for your sites. Projects edited after this update will automatically display the new thumbnails. However, projects edited before this date display placeholders because their old thumbnails are in an incompatible format.
How can I refresh them?
To refresh blank thumbnails, make a few edits to the project. Republishing is not required. A new thumbnail will appear within a few minutes after editing.
How can I customize a thumbnail?
If you’re not satisfied with the automatically generated thumbnail, you can fully customize it. Add a canvas frame with dimensions of 600 × 740 to cover the thumbnail at @2x resolution. Once the frame is ready, right-click it and select “Set as Thumbnail”. Your changes will take effect within a few minutes.
How do I unset a custom thumbnail?
To remove a custom thumbnail, delete the frame that was set as the thumbnail. We’re currently working on adding an option to unset it directly from the context menu.
