Your image, rebuilt as a printer's screen. Five screens — dots, squares, lines, cross-hatch and ASCII — on a grid you can rotate exactly like a screen angle in silkscreen.
Five cursor behaviours. Reveal brings the sharp photograph back under the pointer while the screen dissolves beneath it. Wave sends concentric rings out from the cursor. Magnet pulls the grid tighter. Push displaces it. Or turn it off entirely for a still print.
The image is sampled once per resize and never again — the animation loop only draws. That is what lets thousands of cells stay at full frame rate. Cursor tracking is frame-rate independent, so it feels identical at 60 and 144 Hz, and the effect fades out over a decay you control when the pointer leaves.
Keep the original colours or force a single ink on a paper colour of your choice. Contrast, brightness and invert are there for images that were not shot for this.
Canvas 2D, no dependencies, nothing loaded from outside. Honours prefers-reduced-motion and renders a still frame inside the Framer canvas.
