How template ranking works

What determines popularity

Templates in the Popular section are ranked using performance-based signals that reflect engagement and how users interact with them. These include meaningful interactions that indicate both interest and usability, helping surface templates that deliver real value to others.

You can filter Popular templates by time range to explore what’s trending across different periods:

• Last Week

• Last Month

• Last Quarter

• All time

This time-based browsing allows both new and consistently high-performing templates to be seen, depending on your discovery goals. Rankings are updated daily, so you’re always seeing the freshest data.

How pricing changes affect ranking

To keep things fair, all template rankings only reflect activity that occurred since the most recent pricing change (such as switching from free to paid, or vice versa).

This means when a creator changes their pricing, the template’s position may change — because only engagement from that point onward will count toward its Popular ranking.

We apply this rule to ensure a level playing field: free templates naturally get more engagement than paid ones, so filtering out older metrics helps maintain fair comparisons across all pricing models.

Note: no data is lost. We retain all template performance history — but only events after the pricing change are used for Popular ranking.
