Communications Lead
We’re looking for our first Communications Lead to build and own Framer’s voice in the world. This is a unique chance to shape the narrative around one of the most exciting design + web platforms out there. You’ll be scrappy, fast-moving, and hands-on from day one - setting our comms strategy, driving coverage, and telling the Framer story across tech, design, and startup press.
What you’ll do
Build and run Framer’s communications strategy from scratch - no corporate playbooks, just creativity and hustle
Drive media coverage in tech, design, and startup press through smart storytelling and strong media relationships
Lead comms for product launches, like our recent Design Pages announcement, turning features into narratives that resonate
Jump on opportunities quickly - whether it’s newsjacking, pitching, or shaping angles around industry trends
Work closely with xfn teams + leaders on big announcements
Develop key messaging that positions Framer against competitors and reinforces our role as the future of design + web
What you’ll bring
5–10 years of experience in comms/PR, ideally in tech or at an agency
A proven track record of pitching and securing coverage in top-tier outlets
Excellent storytelling and writing skills - able to make complex ideas simple and compelling
Scrappy, resourceful, and comfortable running comms as a one-person function to start
Based in NY or SF, with strong media relationships or networks in these markets
Bonus: Experience working in or with the creative/design space
