Senior Backend Engineer
We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and maintain the APIs and services powering Framer. You'll work on scalable, high-performance systems that enable real-time coordination, seamless publishing, and much more.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain efficient, well-documented APIs and services.
Own backend systems end to end, from design through deployment and operations.
Work with engineers and designers to ship impactful features.
Contribute to decisions on technology, scalability, and performance.
Ensure code quality through reviews and thoughtful engineering practices.
Focus on building robust systems that scale.
What you’ll bring
5+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong expertise in Go and/or TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.
Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
Familiarity with microservices, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
A focus on quality, scalability, and performance.
