We’ve added a new batch of free fonts. Coaster Sans, Neutral Sans, Tranche Type, and Schroffer Mono are now available in the Open Source category of the Font Picker. Perfect for kickstarting your next template or website. You can find an overview of all newly added typefaces below.

We’re introducing a new way to edit CMS content, inline, in context, and directly on the Canvas. Just double-click any layer with CMS content to start typing right away. Your changes will be instantly synced with the CMS, and you can edit a wide range of fields, including plain text, rich text, dates, references and images. When working with rich text, you can now type / to insert blocks like headings, lists, blockquotes, tables, images, and videos, all fully editable inline. This new editing experience lays the groundwork for even more powerful updates coming soon. The release also includes several fixes and improvements across the board. See the full list below.

Wireframer can now generate starting points in both light and dark mode. You can ask for dark mode in your initial prompt, or mid-chat. We’ve updated a couple of the preset prompts to give you a few examples. Any follow-up changes or additions will automatically match your chosen color scheme, so your designs stay consistent. Plus, Wireframer can now generate even more unique sections, all fully responsive and directly customizable. Start your next site in Framer.

Plugins 3.3 brings support for permissions-based access, unlocking Plugins for more users across your team. Plugin builders can now control access to individual features based on the user’s role—whether they’re a viewer, editor, or limited by plan. Designers can use Plugins without needing Deploy access, and CMS editors can sync collections without full design permissions. Since most Plugins don’t require Deploy access, this update makes them accessible to everyone. We’re also introducing APIs for both REM and Vector Sets.

The May Update brings a combined Plugins and Actions menu, now in a dedicated location in the Canvas Toolbar. Plugins like Workshop are easier to find, as are actions and keyboard shortcuts across many views, from Canvas to CMS.
