Context Menu APIs

·

July 25, 2025

We’re introducing new Context Menu APIs designed to make it easier for plugin developers to create consistent, native-feeling menus. You can now leverage Framer’s built-in menu system directly in your plugins, instead of building context menus from scratch. Create menus for the plugin header or display context menus wherever you need them in your plugin interface.

To improve user control, all plugins that handle authentication must now include a header menu offering a logout option. This ensures users can easily manage their authentication status and maintain full control over their connected accounts directly from within the plugin interface.
