What is a sitemap?

A sitemap is a file that lists the pages on your website, along with information such as:

Search engines use this file to better understand and index your content. You can also submit your sitemap to tools like Google Search Console to improve visibility.

How to access your sitemap

Framer creates your sitemap automatically when you publish your site. To view it:

1. Open your published site in a browser.

2. Add /sitemap.xml to the end of your domain.

For example:

• https://example.com/sitemap.xml

• https://example.framer.website/sitemap.xml

This will display your site’s sitemap in XML format.

Do you need to configure anything?

No setup is required. Framer keeps your sitemap up to date automatically as you publish changes to your site.

If you’re using Google Search Console or another search tool, simply submit the sitemap URL to start indexing your pages.
