Why remix count doesn’t match sales
Learn why your template may show more remixes than sales in the Framer Marketplace.
It’s normal for a template to have more remixes than sales. Remix count tracks every template duplicate, including copies that are not purchases.
How remix count works
In the Framer Marketplace, a remix is counted every time someone duplicates your template. This includes paid copies, unpaid copies, internal review copies, and additional duplicates created by the same user.
Marketplace remixes
After purchasing your template, users may duplicate it to explore design variations or reuse it for new projects. Each duplicate increases the remix count.
Framer team remixes
The Framer team may duplicate your template during review, testing, or updates. These internal copies also count as remixes, even though they are not sales.
Multiple duplicates from the same user
Some users create multiple copies of the same template to test ideas, make backups, or version their work. Each duplicate is counted as a remix.
FAQ
Does a higher remix count mean sales are missing?
No. A higher remix count does not mean purchases are missing. It means Framer is counting all template duplications, not only sales.
Can one buyer create multiple remixes?
Yes. A buyer can duplicate the same template more than once, and each duplicate is counted as a separate remix.
Do Framer team duplicates affect my sales?
No. Internal Framer duplicates may increase the remix count, but they do not affect your sales or payout.
