Accept payments in the Community

Learn how to connect your checkout page to your product in the Community.

To sell products in the Framer Community, you need to provide a checkout page URL where users can complete their purchase. Framer does not process payments or handle transactions. This applies to all product types, including templates, components, and vector sets.

How checkout works

When someone clicks “Purchase”, they’re redirected to your checkout page to complete payment. After the purchase, you’re responsible for giving them access to the product, such as through a remix URL, component URL, or vector set URL.

Set up your checkout page

You can use any platform that provides a direct payment link, such as Contra, Stripe, or Gumroad.

  1. Create your product on your preferred payment platform.

  2. Copy the checkout URL.

  3. Paste the URL into the payment field in your Marketplace listing.

Dark UI modal titled ’Set Pricing’ with fields for Checkout URL and Price, showing example placeholders ([https://contra.com/payment-link/xyz](http://framer.com/m/123) and 99$), and ‘Cancel’ and ’Save’ buttons at the bottom.

Checkout requirements

Your checkout page should:

  1. Go directly to payment, without extra steps or navigation.

  2. Clearly show the product and price.

  3. Match the price shown in your Marketplace listing.

  4. Be publicly accessible, with no login required before purchase.

  5. Include a clear refund or cancellation policy.

Deliver access after purchase

Payments are handled outside Framer, so you’re responsible for delivering the product to the buyer.

Most creators provide access using a remix URL, component URL, or vector set URL. You should also include clear instructions for using the product. You can optionally send a confirmation email with the access details.
