At Framer, we continually strive to enhance the hosting experience for your sites. A key improvement is our new set of dedicated IP addresses, which we now fully own. This change gives us greater control during emergencies and ensures that the IPs are not “tainted” by previous usage, which could raise security flags. We highly recommend adopting this new setup, as it requires minimal effort on your part.

To use the enhanced hosting, update your DNS records with the ones provided below in the web hosting service where you purchased your domain.

Domain registrars and hosting companies typically offer a custom panel for DNS management. Below are support articles for the most commonly used domain registrars:

First, add the new A records to your DNS settings.

  • 31.43.160.6

  • 31.43.161.6

Do not remove the old Framer IPs yet. Next, check that both the new and old DNS records appear globally using DNS Checker. You should see green checkmarks in all regions. If you notice inconsistencies or errors, wait for DNS changes to propagate. If issues persist after 24 hours, contact your domain registrar.

Once everything checks out, remove these old A records:

  • 52.223.52.2

  • 35.71.142.77

Now, your DNS should only return the new Framer IPs. It may take up to 24 hours for the changes to fully update, but your site will remain accessible throughout the process.

We are transitioning to new systems that use updated IP addresses. Support for the old IP addresses will end on July 1, 2025.
